    Hi,

I'm going to Thailand for a few weeks over Christmas and am looking for recommendations for reading material for the plane, beach etc.

Here are some books I've read recently and my opinions of them just for some background:

Marching Powder (V.good, simple but riveting read)
The Bourne Identity (Quite good, far too much detail in places but enjoyable)
Star of The Sea (Excellent, from cover to cover)
This Book Could Save Your Life (V. good, light enough read but very good)
Swung (not great at all, very mediocre)

    Any suggestions?
    Thanks.

I'm assuming you've read The Beach!!

You could try the book in this thread. From what I've enjoyed of it so far it would be a great travel read.
