    Hi guys
I’m looking in to getting a Psv licence.
I called in to local garda stations for the forms. And one of the things I have to get is
Tax clearance form. So I called the tax offices today and they told me I have to be
self-employed to get a tax clearance form. Is ther any way around this cas im not
self-employed . any feed back would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

ok, so you havent got a tax clearance cert by now which means your not gona get it in time to apply before the 14th december deadline.

your gona have to wait now unti the 1st - 14th march window to apply.

tax clearance form can be applied for here : http://www.revenue.ie/forms/webtc11.pdf

then you need 3 photos : 3" wide by 4" high.
pay 12 euro to the local motor tax office for a PSV application.
    long birth cert
    copy of passport
    drivers licence etc etc

if you have the PSV form from the garda station, then you have the list, but the main thing is the tax clearance cert, which you apply to the revenus for, and your not gona get that before next friday im afraid.

    hope this helps

Were it says on the form

    Tax District

Name of Government Department or Public Authority from which the relevant payment
    is being claimed:

Nature and amount of relevant payment being claimed

    What do I put in

    thanks

tax district is what part of the country you live in : http://www.revenue.ie/index.htm

on all the others just write Not Applicable
and put a little note at the bottom saying that you are applying for a PSV licence hence you need a TC cert.

hope this helps man, its a little confusing allright :D
