Does anyone remember this? I saw the picture in a photo album earlier, it just said end of April 99 snow beside it. It must be very rare to have snow this late, and for it to stick(or nearly) at sea level:eek: Looking at the archives i presume it was around the 18th…

Thats near around the time when my first daughter was born and i do recall it being bitter but i dont remember snow.

Ye, I remember that. There was loads on that morning but through the day it melted so rapidly in the strong sun. There were some leaves and buds on the trees if I remember correctly- not a great start for them that year!

yes, i remember that too.
I also remember a year where there was lying snow on the last day of April.
