Ok PS3 has MGS and Gran Turismo as exclusives, I think that's possibly about it?

Assasins Creed is on the Xbox 360 too.

But that's beside the point. I think the best way for this fella to pick the best system for him is to read the reviews of each system in the link I posted in the second post.

But if you are gonna try to suggest one for him, at least read what he wants from the system.

He wants online play. None of the games you mentioned are multi-player.

From the sounds of what he's looking for, the Xbox 360 would suit him best.

And on Halo 3: I haven't played it because I haven't got much interest in it, but three of my mates have it and they love it.

You are the first person I've come accross to say it's terrible. I'm really doubting you have this Xbox 360 you are telling us is your foot rest.

Anyway, the original poster stated that he had a high end pc (mostly for online gaming)

That would in my opinion rule out the XBox 360. Mainly because 360 the exclusive games offered are very similar (FPS and the like). But if more of the same but in comfort of your living room, go for it.

PS3:
-Has Blu-Ray
-Still awaiting a decent collection of games (there are a few great titles out)

Nintendo Wii:
-Mario Galaxy (what, you need more than this to buy the Wii?)
-Too much rubbish games (some games are just gimmicky for no good reason)
-Most of the games are easy to pick up and play (Wii Sports)

Although I think the best way would be to look at the games already released or soon to be released for each console and if you would like to play these games. Because it's all about the games.

I have a ps3,wii and a 360. I haven't said one negative thing about the wii or ps3 in this thread, just praise for the 360 because of personal experience with all 3 consoles.
