Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    if there was a grant of probate extracted in the estate of the deceased then the will becomes a public document and you can write to the local probate office and ask for a certified copy. It's a few quid but you don't need a solicitor to do it.

    The will should have been proven by going to probate, unless the estate was very small (eg: no real estate involved and/or only small amounts of cash).

    If it has gone to probate, then it becomes a public document and can be examined by the public, usually for a small fee.

    I see you're in Limerick. Give your district probate office ring at the following;

    The Courthouse,
    Merchants Quay,
    Limerick
    Tel: 061 414655
