    Hey looking to get into engineering. Can anyone give me some advice??? What kinda person does it take to be an engineer??? How much does an engineer usually start at regardless of statistics(American Dollars)???? How can you find out if its for you???

    american dollars? this is an irish forum, if you are more interested in what they are paying in america then go to an american forum and find out cos it may be slightly different to here.

    www.careerdirections.ie gives good descriptions.

    American grads start on 50k a year, at the least the ones I know did, in avonics.
