Friend has purchased a 2001 corsa, and they are on the look out for a cd player for it. Will any cd player fit it and does there need to be an extra piece got for around the cd player?

Any CD player should fit - but if you want the display were the clock is to work with the CD player you need an Opel oem Cd player - (should be cheap eough in a scrapyard or dismantlers ( make sure you get the code though )

If your current stereo is double DIN, then you will need an adapter plate. The display on the upper dash will still work with the replacement unit but it will only display date/time/temperature and not the radio station/CD.

thats right. i did it last year on my corsa (same year). you all need the connector cables and some little aerial plug. i'll try and dig out the website i ordered them from
