Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey,

The other day my sim just gave up! One moment it was fine then the other it just said insert sim..I have tried it in other phones and other sims in my phone so it's definitely the sim.

I've gotten a new sim from Vodafone since but I've lost all my numbers..

Is there any little tricks that can be performed using a sim card reader or whatever to retrieve data from the borken sim??

    Thanks.

If you got to a Vodafone or Cardphonewarehouse shop they can try to move the data for you for free, if they can't access the data I don't think you will be able to do it even if you buy a card reader.

Best of luck, same happned to me a while back, I did have some numbers back-up to my PC from a few months earlier so was able to restore them to the new SIM.

    Regards

If a few different phones can't read the SIM then there's sweet fa you can do. You could try nava's suggestion of popping into a store to see if they can do anything, btu those SIM readers use the same technology as the phones !
