Well girlies, I'm new to the big smoke and while the gang at work are brilliant craic, they're mainly guys. We go out socialising etc together and there's never a dull moment but I'm getting to the point now where I really miss female company and would just love to have a girl's night out etc...any tips on how to meet other girls and make friends in this city? I'm a very chatty, friendly, open person yet I'm finding it very difficult to meet other girls. Tried thinking of clubs etc I could join but I'm honestly not sure what would suit me....I'm crap at any sports, not majorly interested in doing a night course (have had enough of any form of study for now!) etc...Any advice? Thanks ladies :)

If you won't do a night course and aren't interested in sports then you are limiting your options somewhat. Night courses don't have to always involve exams and lots of studying there are tons of them out there, you could take guitar lessons for example, join a yoga class or a bookclub and you'd meet lots of people that way.

Would you be interested in meeting up with blokes who dress up as girls? More or less the same thing really. If so PM Pighead.

Don't rule out the aul night course, I've met some great people at mine this term.

Also try gumtree.ie, lots of rubbish on it but I met a very good mate through her ad on that.

there is no way in hell you CAN'T go now.

... though i would be more intrigued to see you stripped down to the mirrorball suit there.

    that suit's genius.
