Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'll be heading to San Sebastian with a few friends in Feb. None of us have been there before .Now it’s a bit of a lad’s weekend so any tips about museums will be wasted on us .

    Thanks very much

You can surf on the eastern beach if the conditions are right.

At the western end of the western beach there's a park with air spouts in the ground driven by the sea waves. Stand over one and wait for a big wave to come in. It might even work as a hangover cure.

Great restaurants, maybe the best in Spain, and even the world, see San Sebastian on six meals a day.

The tapas bars are amazing, hundreds of hungry drinkers moving from bar to bar in search of booze and delicious snacks. People seem to move en masse, so just go with the flow to find the really good places.

There are tonnes of tapas bars in Donostia (as it's called in the Basque language) so it's great for bar-hopping. Lots of the bars serve the local cider which is quite nice.

There are mountain walks to take as well as an aquarium to visit. I was there in 2002 in January for hols and thought it was a great spot.
