Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi there,

Once i start installing everything goes grand... then at some stage computer would freeze, i have to power it off to restart. Once i turn on windows load properly, once i c desktop it would freeze again, i re-nstalled windows 3times now... just to make sure is it Sound Card drivers causing me problem... and each time it just happens again and again... :? anyone have any ideas what's wrong with it ?

btw i have soundblaster driver cd....

    Thanks...

    EDIT:
not sure is this is the right place to post...

Try reflashing your BIOS with the latest firmware and downloading all the latest drivers for your motherboard and other hardware.

Have you any other PCI cards installed?

defo agree to get system drivers first

boot into safe mode and do a system restore before the sound blaster
if the CD is more than a year old then don't use it and get the latest drivers from the web with a bit of luck update.microsoft.com should pick up the card

only when windows is stable or there is no microsoft driver do you look for one the creative site
