Buying a UK LCD TV

I'm currently looking for a 32" lcd ata good price and it looks like i'll be buying it from a UK website.I've seen on some other threads that some tvs bought in the uk may not pick up analogue tv over here.If i see tv with UHF AND VHF tuner am i alright???.Also in a PAL-I tuner, does that "I" refer to ireland.I currently have sky but i might not in a future home.
Are these tvs okay for analogue over here??

Yes both these TVs will work in Ireland and both are available in Ireland! It is possible to pick up the Sony for €899 < you may be able to get a free stand with it > The Philips you can also get for €899 but you can get an even better Philips a 7762D, for the same price! Id go for the Sony!

I thought you might prefer the sony but my wallet sure does'nt.I also like this one

It does'nt have the specs on display but do you think it would also be compatible????
