SKY and NTL/chorus once you are in thier customer data base will keep sending crap to you and even if you get yourself removed you get the generic "to the resident" crap in the post from them.

im a customer of chorus and they also send me 'to the resident' sign up crap twice or three times a week... they are a small bit confused i think

    little caesars.

Bought a pizza from them for the first time tonight. My god it was horrible. It went in the bin after one slice. The sauce was like ketchup with melted easy cheese singles (not sure thats the name but the crap cheese slices that taste like plastic). It seriously made me want to vomit. The price of the pizza was alot of such a basic and bare pizza.

Should've went to a chipper and got some cod.

oo i must add also clarks shoe shop in cork
i got my son a pair of shoes, went home and walked on non-carpet and it was obvious the shoes hurt his ankle so off i went to take them back, got approached by a blackshirted man, who obviously cared more about his shirt than anything else, told me to come back with my 'kid' to see the problem in order to get a refund,
took son back with shoes, a girl with low-english speaking skills served a woman that came in after me, then saw the frustration in my face and grudgingly attended my concern, asked me where the free toy was that came with the shoes, and said that the shoes were worn.(because a two year old can run a marathon in 1 hour with a box around them aparently)

i didnt have the toy so said i can exchange them for a different shoe that also had the free toy, she came back with this disgusting pair of shoe, and i looked at her in horror at the obvious lie she had just told.
she said to come back the following week
i said 'stuff you' and will never go back there

Esquires, Manor Mills Shopping Centre, Maynooth, tried to charge me 75c extra for a decaf latte(as aposed too regular)!! I know it takes extra work to remove the caffine but concidering the cost to the company is negligable..
And the worst thing was the people in the queue of sheep behind me had nothing but looks of contempt for ME when i challenged the issue!...

iPhone/iPod/anything Apple - Fisher Price for adults...quote from earlier post..ipod is over priced.

Reeboks shoes for being worthless pieces of crap. I bought them and they broke after 2 weeks. Had to wear them for the next 6 months because my pairs wouldn't get my another pair. However the exact same pair were on sale so my parents got them for me, thinking wearing **** shoes for half year meant I loved them, and they broke after 2 weeks again. I had to wear them for 6 months again.

I'd really like to see what they're gonna say to the cops when they respond to the emergency call to see a load of ketchup on the floor.
That place is a dump anyway.I got some sort of lamb pizza in there and it was a pile of sludge with some mince in it.

i refuse to use the m50 now since they brought in this new tolling lark. Ill use every other part of it up to the toll bridge, but other than that they can fk off. Im already paying my road tax, and that poxy thing shouldnt be there now.

I refuse to buy dell computers or anything from a main stream computer company as they are all scumbags who havnt a clue about what they are doing and they are over charging for it. Even laptops, that 'laptop shop' in dundrum is full of idiots who are over charging by up to 50% its a total joke. They havnt a clue about the stuff they are selling aswell.

Ill never buy a mercedes - useless cars for multiple reasons.. yes, the drivers are part of the reason too :D

Without question, Dell. When I was in the UK my brother foolishly decided to purchase a Dell PC without asking for advice. I would have told him "no way Jose - stay away". Suffice to say the support he got was terrible and in the end he didn't look after it. Total write off. Unfortunately for him I build my own PC's and know what to look for.

Cold calling. I find this to be extremely irritating. Despite constant reminders not to call again, within minutes or later on the evening the same caller rings again. Can't they harass someone else?

Tesco - Oh god where do I start!! Let's see, first of all the premises in Sligo is more reminiscent of a factory than a supermarket. It is awful, and is in dire need of a makeover. The staff are quite rude and need to take lessons from their colleagues in Carrick on Shannon. There is something very detestable about Tesco branded foods. Their overall choice is quite limited compared to Dunnes Stores (who are light years ahead in my humble opinion)

Eircom seriously need to look at what they are charging their customers because it is too much. Competition should encourage them to keep their prices down.

When I get more peeves I will put them down.

Oh yes another one is public transport here in Ireland. Train prices are through the roof. Time for private competition to the imbeciles at Iarnrod Eireann and Bus Eireann I believe, especially on long commuter journeys.

Yeah, Irish transport is dire! Every Friday I wait for a bus at ten to 3 and it arrives at half 4. This bus is supposed to be there every hour at 3. So I just wait until 4 before leaving now. What a joke.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,995 ✭✭✭DenMan

The day you decide to walk down just before half four, somebody will tell you it came on time, at ten to three. It is a shambles alright.

  • Registered Users Posts: 817 ✭✭✭Burial

    I'm hoping that won't happen

Likewise. Want to them over in New York. STAY AWAY. Were barely started our starter, when they came out with the main, piling the foof on top of the food we were eating

That's like going to Spain and complaining everyone speaks Spanish. Of course they pile the food up, it's the American way.

No, no, that's not the way. Ugly people go in back. Good looking people tend to be ****e at just about everything practical.

No, not piling the food up, more like on us. We got starters. Were eating starters. Normal restaurant would ask would we like our main, and clear the starter away. Not TGI. TGI comes out, and gives us the main course. We were "where the do we put this stuff, because the entire table is taken up by the starters and drinks?".

Staff just gave us the food, and ran off.

We were left to finish the starters, then put the starter plates onto a spare spot where no-one was sitting, so that we could eat the main without too much clutter.

Then, to top it all off, the waitress came up, and told us that if we wanted anything else (drinks or desert), we'd have to order it off someone else, as she was finishing up then. People finish up, fair enough, but you don't server 5 people 20 minutes before you leave, and expect them to be somehow finished in 20 minutes:mad: Here, that sort of sh|t wouldn't get a tip. There, with that sort of sh|t, they'll take the $8 tip from you. Place was a dive, and the other customers didn't look too happy either.

If you goto New York, goto the Red Lobster. Staff there were excellent. Other people looked happy. Old and young folk.
