fan oven thermostat

Hey, My fan oven decided to pack it in the other day. The fan itself still works but there's no heat. I replaced the element but no joy. Would I be right in thinking the thermostat is the problem? If so, anyone know how to go about replacing it? Thanks a mill

depends on what make as some can be a ballbreaker to replace -b4 replaceing the stat trace back the wires from the element to the stat to see if they are broke
