Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Buying Tickets for Premiership Matches

Ok, I'm really sorry if this is in the wrong place and a mod has to go to the trouble of moving it.

I'm trying to get tickets to a premiership match (Man Utd at home) for a friend, what is the best way of going about this? I'm looking at something like the Liverpool or Arsenal games next March/April

I couldn't find out if the FA have any official online resellers, and I checked out a few sites but the prices seemed extortionate.

Are you better off to get tickets seperately (and if so, where?) to accommodation, or book with a travel agent as a package (and again, where?).

Again, sorry if this is in the wrong place, any help would be much appreciated!

Also, since anyone replying might have to mention a company name or endorse someone, feel free to PM me if uncomfortable.

    Thanks

Home ticket for Manchester United v Arsenal or Liverpool. Solving world hunger might be easier, good luck:)

You would be better of trying for a game againsBlackburn, Fulham or one of the less well supported clubs. They also do packages on lastminute.com. I don't know if they are any good and they will cost you a fortune, but may be worth a try.

Two good packages I use for these sort of matches:

    http://www.whartontravel.com - Bus & Boat
http://www.gerrymcmahon.ie - Plane (you have to organise your own transport apart from that though)

They are quite handy for getting tickets for the big games.
