Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,
Looking to to get either an XDA or a Blackberry soon but not sure which will best suit me.

I wont be able to connect to a blackberry server for mails so I guess theres no real point getting one unless Gmail supports it ha ha.

just wonder if I could get some opinions from those who use either for personal use.

in the last year and a bit ive use an xda exec, blackberry pearl, iphone (recently) and i support a few nokia e61s in the office...
if you dont need to do spreadsheets and play with word on the bus then get a BB or e-series nokia.
only pitfall is getting a 2.5g phone for email. you will get nailed on data charges.. bb has a €20 all you can eat tariff and if you get a 3g phone (i.e. e61) you can put on a broadband package with a high limit for email.

Im not sure about the newer models. But I know with XDA 2, you could install a BB client on it. But you might want to check with O2

I use XDA Exec with BB Connect for may work and personal email. Cant beat full size keyboard for email. Too big for a phone though - I carry a separate phone.
