    Hey,

Car failed NCT ('01 Astra) and i need to get the driver's side headlight alignment checked. Can anyone suggest a garage on the north side of Dublin to get this looked at? If they do rpl licence plates that would also be a bonus.

    Cheers lads.

any garage could do that. in fact, do a search on the net for aligning headlights and with a bit of time, you could easily diy (prob not worth the fail for what a garage would charge to do it).
a motor accessories shop should do the plates for under 20 quid.

that NCT is a load of bolXXx Did you know that prier to the test that only one 1% of car crashes deaths were caused by vehicular failure, yet they spent millions to get the extra revenue in... none of it was for your safety

So its a good thing to drive around in an un-roadworthy vehicle.
The NCT got and keeps getting alot of crap cars of the road. If your can't afford to service and maintain your car properly, don't drive.
