Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is there anyway to check lotto/euromillions numbers through your mobile, without going online. Text service?

Since you're on line now why not check out the website for yourself and see if it's possible ?

If you're on Vodafone, you can send the word "LOTTO" to 51745 and it will text you back to lotto numbers.

Dunno about the other networks though.

where are you getting 9c per minute form? wap costs between 1c and 3c per kb depending on your network and settings, and there is no per minute charge. i just loaded the page there and it cost me 4c

    edit: take a look here:
    http://www.meteor.ie/personal/pay_as_you_go/price_plans/other_call_costs/

there is a form of wap that is charged per minute, CSD wap which stands for circuit switched data. normal wap is packet switched, not circuit switched so you pay the 2c per kb charge instead. you don't pay both

I was nearly sure meteor use to charge 2c per kb + 9c per minute, i'm still on one of the old plans

if you're on some plan that does that you should get off it immediately. i've never heard of any type of plan that charges by both time and data. if you go into your internet settings and try to create a new profile you'll see that you choose either packet switched or circuit switched, you can't have both

on a nokia packet switched is either called "GPRS" or "packet data" and circuit switched is called "GSM". GPRS is 2G, GSM is 1G. on sony ericssons its called PS and CS or similar. the main setting of a packet switched accout is the access point name, the main one for a circuit switched account is a phone number, ie you're phone dials a number when you access the net which is why you pay per minute
