    Hi,

    Going to get a real one for the first time this weekend, wondering if anyone had any advice on where/cost around west dublin.

    Most supermarket car parks... if you are near Leixlip, take Kellystown lane which goes around the back of the Intel plant. A place in there grows and sells them.

    Oh and if close to Palmerstown, they always sell them in the supervalu car park.

    cheers, that sounds ideal.

    Was going through Leixlip last night and also seen them been sold either side of the road before the traffic lights on the main street(dublin end), will head over when its bright Saturday.

    Don't know if you got one or not but real trees are quite often on sale in Maynooth too. Just across from the Roost pub, beside the Garda Station. Don't know if they are on sale there this year though.

    Good stuff! Nice price too! Do those guys take the trees back for pulping later or do you just bring it to a pulping site?

    never asked and they didn't say, so I wold guess no.

    There are normally a few council recycling places around after Christmas for trees.
