Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    The way I see it they are appointing mods in terms of team stature.

    So i take it it all starts from today with PHB, a Man Utd fan. Essentially they are starting from the bottom of the barrel with Man Utd, working their way slowly up.

    In my opinion, this should have happened years ago. Every since I was a kid on these boards some admins always told me, 'Dave, you've got the brain of a moderator'. Then they wouldn't let me mod. The big kids always got played in front of me, despite me having a natural modding brain. I'd do little things, like merge posts, delete parts of threads, the quick effective stuff ya know. The big kids would just ban lock 12-click. This sort of attitude is why boards.ie does so poorly compared to boards.it. If this was on boards.arg I would have been a mod years ago.

    I'll sort that out for you. Nobody should be allowed to go into the LSE and not have a clue about economics (or have participated in a Hist debate ever), so I think a ban should restore the globe to equilibrium... ;)

    yeah I remember :) myself and a few mates went up to CPL one year and ye trounced us in the first match. I'm not sure if we even won a round. But we had good craic all the same, lol ;)
