    Hi, is it normal for cats to drool when you're rubbing them. My 5year old neutered tom is terrible!! It used to take ages of belly scratching before he'd drool, now all you have to do is call him over. He runs over, sits down and starts drooling!!! It's pretty disgusting!

    mine will drool when he's happy, and his eyes close and he's nearly smiling.
    When he used to sleep on my lap when I'd be watching TV, he's often leave the odd 'wet patch' (of drool!) :D
    can be nasty if he suddenly decides to scratch / shake his head mid-drool and it flies about! :eek:
