Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Check these settings:

Tools>Settings>Connection>Access Points>Vodafone Live

Connection Name: Vodafone Live!
Data Bearer: Packet Data
Access Point Name: Live.Vodafone.ie
User Name: Dublin
Prompt Password: No
Password: Dublin
Authentication: Normal
Homepage: Http://live.vodafone.com

If you still have a problem, could it be to do with your sim?

I recall some people having to change their sim after changing to this particular phone... but i could be mistaken.

you're missing some settings. here's the full list:
connection name:Vf Live!
data bearer: packet data
APN:live.vodafone.com

username:dublin
prompt password:no
password:dublin
authentication:normal
homepage:http://live.vodafone.com
network type:IPv4
phone IP address:automatic
name servers (DNS): automatic
proxy address:010.024.059.100
proxy port:80

or get them sent out to your phone here:
https://nokiags.wdsglobal.com/standard?siteLanguageId=118

and you're right about some people having to change their sim

updated settings and i am now getting connection timeout any ideas

when you say you updated the settings, did you enter them as i posted the above or did you get them sent from the site? and when you were trying to access the net are you sure you were using the right profile? are there a few with the same name?

could you use the internet on your old phone?

how old is your sim?

yeah you opened the live browser but that doesn't necessarily mean it was using the live settings. did it ask you which profile to use when you tried to go to a website or how did you know it was using the right one?

did you find a place to enter every one of the settings in my post and is there anything you weren't sure of?

and how old is your sim and could you access the net on your old phone?

the mms settings are similar but not the same. Lets get this working first because if you can't get the net working chances are mms won't work either

Does the error pop up on multiple sites, or one site in particular?

Mine has generated the same problem on one or two slower sites.
