    0845 is for uk 'locall' numbers. I know i have to add the 0044 but does anyone know how much it costs to ring from ireland. Im with eircom, but just need a rough idea.

    Calls to 0800, 0845 etc in the Uk are charged at Eircom's standard rate. Check their website for the exact figure but about 37c day and 30c evening/weekend (i.e. it's expensive).

    BT also charge at standard rate but theirs is a bit lower.

    What do you mean by 'standard rate'. Will i be charged for an international call to great britain. I checked there website but cant find anything on 0845 numbers.
