Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I read this on another forum, supposedly from the Wrestling Observer:
There is a strong rumour going around that Team 3D will continue to put over some of the X-Division wrestlers and then depart from TNA in late January or early February sometime. Word is the former World Tag Team Champions want to return to WWE.

I've heard similar rumours on other sites too which leads me to believe there might be an element of truth in it, especially since other guys in TNA have been requesting their release.

How would you feel about them coming back to WWE? Do you think they can offer anything?

If WWE decided to push the tag division then I could see them having a place. But I don't think that's likely, so they'd offer about as much as your current Raw tag champs do

It was WWE who wanted them out in the first place, wasn't it? So something would have to change on WWE's part to have them back and I can't see it happening and don't particularly want to see it happen

TBH, the Dudleys aren't much use to WWE anymore. I'd like to see them back, but I'm kind of reaching the stage where nostalgia trips aren't cool anymore. WWE need to continue pushing teams like Cade and Murdoch and emmm.......emmm......ok, just push Cade and Murdoch.

The tag team divisions are woeful right now though so I think if they came back and helped put over young teams like Cade and Murdoch or London and Kendrick then it might be beneficial.

I think the WWE lowballed them on a contract and the Dudleys got pissed and decided to leave but I think that might have been WWE's way of showing them the door so it was a bit of both I think. The thing is the Dudleys bitched about WWE and buried the company when they left so to return would make them look like a bunch of hypocrites.

You'd wonder if Vince would want them back.

    let me see
cade and murdoch, not over in the slightest
holly and rhodes, even less over than cade and murdoch

if that is the best raw can do then good luck

where the hell is kendrick and london, at least they were over. Vince went and sacked the most over team on raw "cryme tyme", signing the dudleys would at least put a little bit of interest back into the tag-team division on raw for a while

There was interest a few months ago when Cade and Murdoch seemed to be feuding with London and Kendrick. I've actually completely forgotten about those two, where have they been? They were having some good matches. If WWE treated the Dudleys like they're treating every other tag team on Raw then any interest created by the Dudleys would last no more than a couple of weeks

Yeah on Between the Ropes this week they strongly hinted that the Dudley's would be leaving TNA for WWE. The only reason I mention this is that they are based in Florida where the Dudley's live and seem to be quite friendly with them as they have them on their show quite frequently.

I'm all for this if they do a proper feud between the Dudley's and Cade and Murdoch.

the timing would make sense. January/febuary, meaning they would probably immediatley start a program with the current tag-champs leading into WrestleMania. Hopefully Cade and Murdoch will win the gold back before then and could be put over by the dudley at WrestleMania, before a probable rematch at Backlash (in a tables match perhaps).

Get the Dudleys back and also get Christian so we can have a TLC by wrestlemania. :)

Although they are terrible it would certainly raise the image of the Raw tag titles by a mile. Morrison and the MIZ! are doing a great job in Smackdown not to mention the titles got a boost from the MVP Hardy run but nobody cares about the ones in Raw. I disagree with everyone saying that they should lose them at Wrestlemania though, personally I think they should beet MurCade abd then lose them to Londrick.

wouldnt mind seeing them back at all,itd be better than seeing jim duggan on raw thats for sure, and a hardys/dudleys tlc match would draw the fans would love to see it again, notastalgia always works well in wrestling just look at raw last week, now granted the dudleys arent austin or hogan but they were mega over at one stage in their career with the WWE so it wouldnt hurt having them back at all

The Dudleys were stale for years before leaving the WWE. I remember them being Spikes bodyguards or something like that. Once the novelty wears off they would just be holding the other tag-teams back. The Hardy Boys could still perform when they came back but they are better wrestlers than Bubba & D-Von.

They may be old and out of shape but, in the words of Ron Simmons, Damn they are good heels. They can make you hate them in an instant and get you to support whoever they are feuding with.

That is true I think, they're the only guys in TNA who get real heel heat these days
