Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    90 appearances and 29 goals.

Almost one in three isn't too bad for a Villa striker.

Nemanja Vidic is becoming a cult hero for United at the minute.

Jesper Blomqvist - actually did alright when he played in 99.
Teddy Sheringham - massive in helping us win the treble, even if he did start his United career with a missed pen.
Ronny Johnsen - massively underated alonsgide Stam.

Thats unbelieveable, i was actually opening this thread to put him in!

Ultimate cult hero. Played an astonishingly large part in our Champions league win with Gerrard and Alonso being injured for a lot of the games.

He's just joined Dinamo Zagreb as well in the past few weeks.

Juan Pablo Angel was a true Villa cult hero! (I'd have him back instead of Marlon Harewood anyday :D)
    Savo Milošević at Villa

Savo wasn't a cult hero at Villa. As somebody already mentioned the fans labelled him 'Missalotovic' and things came to ahead in a game at Blackburn where he actually spit at the Villa fans in retaliation to their heckles.

As a West Brom fan I see nothing wrong with his actions!

I'll always remember calling him that and laughing exactly 2 seconds before he scored that stunner in the Coca-Cola Cup final... horribly unfortunate timing :o

for arsenal, christopher wreh would have to get a shout - scored in three 1-0s against Wimbledon, Bolton (league) and Wolves (Cup semi) in the 1998 double. alex manninger's awesome run in goals covering for seamo that year has always made him a legend too.

oh and mickey thomas for THAT goal
