White cars

Why do people here hate white cars ? They are becoming more popular I think but in general people who have no opinion about anything else say straight up - "I will never have a white car" why is that do you think? In the US and many other parts of the world white is the most popular.

More common in the UK. Dealers have to special order Avensis Liftbacks over here, so they won't order a white one for stock.
Easier to talk someone into a silver model for now than a white one in 16-20 weeks.

white can look very bad when it fades i think. that and if its an older car it makes rusty spots stand out a mile.

I think the main issue is that when you see a white car you think fleet car. Saw a white 07 passat yesterday by cherrywood. Look fantastic, especially as it was 9pm!
