Krav Maga Limerick?

Hi all.

Does anyone know if there is any regular Krav Maga class in/near Limerick?

as far as i know, nope.....ive heard that the castlebar lads are doing weekend workshop(s) in limerick though:)

Correct Sorgan!
I was there in November and hope to get back early in '08. Dates to be confirmed, venue likely to be prefab 5,Mary I.
All we had was a 4 hour workshop as a type of introduction to the system. The people there on the day felt that that was enough for 1 day, and were keen for another workshop to take place asap.
If people wanted a weekend seminar, it can be easily arranged.
All the best with it wherever or with whomever you train!!

yes there are 2 classes a week held in UL in the PESS building at 21:00 on mondays and 18:00 on wednsdays. classes are off for christmas but will be resuming as soon as the colledge reopens. (25th of january)

cost is €5 per class or free if you are a student or former student.
and €10 registration fee to cover insurance.

The UL Krav Maga have a new instructor from Tralee. He is a fully certified IKMF instructor. He only takes the class on Monday night. First class was last night. He runs a full time Krav Maga school in tralee. Think the cost of the class is now 7 euro for the Monday. I train with this instructor in Tralee for the last few months.Would highly recommend him. This is the contact details for the instructor for Tralee. This guy takes the class on monday night in UL. Ring me for info.

Steve Folan has been running classes on Monday nights in Mungret College since last year. Contact details on the website. 2 weeks gone on the current course.

Their are Guys who do authientic krav maga and are recognised by the Isreal krav maga association. Main guy is Grandmaster Steve Mcgregor and master John Cushahan.
Their based is annacotty Industrial estate outside castletroy in Limerick.
