Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Denilson probably just about deserved to go, as he was on a yellow and the tackle warranted another, but not a straight red. How will the suspension work? Bans in Carling Cup matches carry into all domestic games don't they? So if that's the case he'll miss 3 premiership games, which won't affect him.

Wenger raised a lot of eyebrows when he signed Diarra in the summer, he was class tonight. Really looked better than he ever did in a Chelsea jersey.

For Blackburn, Santa Cruz seems the only bright spark for the team at the moment. Pederson is a bit of a mystery, hasn't been able to recapture his form from the last two seasons. McCarthy didn't look himself either when he came on.

Great win for Arsenal tonight. Completely dominated the game in the first half and it really should remained 2-0 at half time. Blackburn really came out strong in the second half and when Denilson got sent off(rightly, but as a second yellow imo) i thought the game was over. Fair play the lads for keeping it up and Eduardos finishing was excellent, Diaby and Bendtner, and Song!were also brilliant. Hopefully they can go all the way this year!

Steve Bennett is a sh1t ref.

Zokora should never have walked, Malbranque should have, Jenas didn't deserve a booking for "diving", Dunne should have had a peno.

The BBC London commentators absolutely slated him throughout the game.

Delighted with the Spurs performance once down to 10 men, showed definite signs of improvement on Saturday away to Pompey but I expected nothing from tonight's game so I'm over the (blue) moon.

Berbatov was immense, Lennon worked his socks off. Even Kaboul appeared to have a good game...:D

Top marks to Robbo for the save from Vassell.

Absolutely thoroughly surpised by the kids, never thought they'd turn in a performance this good. Mostly all I've to say is the same as above (Denilson deserved to walk, no place for two footed tackles in the game imo) incredible performance.

Chalking up an away win albeit at Blackburn is a feat to be proud of, even more so with 10 men. All the time considering Blackburn have conceded < 5 goals at home in all comps this season. If I was to single out one player, it'd be Armand Traore. One word: Immense.

Spurs - Arsenal hopefull ;) and Toffees - Pool would make tasty two leggers over Jan!

I reckon we could take Arsenal's youth side this year :)

Disappointing defeat but sure we're concentrating on the league anyway. No need for these mickey mouse cup! ;)

The two games last night just showed how inconsistent referees are. Denilson sent off, rightly so, Malbranque didn't go and his tackle was worse IMO. Then look at Terry's tackel at the weekend, far worse than Denilsons but nothing is done.

Thought the Blackburn v Arsenal game last night was a great game. For all Blackburns huffing and puffing, Arsenal get one chance and score the winner. Would have liked to have seen Blackburn win.

Not true, its 15 at home. Theyve conceded 13 (both home and away) in the last 5 games

Oh yes and never mind that Blackburn were dead and buried before the scored a goal with two men offside.

Lets not forget Zokora sent off for a yellow card offence at best.

Robbie Keane sent off for a yellow card at best vs Birmingham then Stephen Ireland lunges into Lee in the same spot a week later and gets the same punishment?
