    Whats the story with differnt gearbox versions? Ver 2 and Ver 3 seem to get mentioned alot.

    yea, there's a few different types out there, v2 and v3 being the most popular of the lot, there's a good page on arnie's that shows pictures of them all here

    Edit:
    i'm not sure that v7 gearbox on arnie's is correct, as far as i knew the v7 is the type used in the m14, but that one appears to be the split v2 design used by ics
