    Just a heads up for fans of the late Tony Wilson (or the Manchester music scene in general).....24hr Party People is Film 4 tomorrow (Wed) at 11.25pm.

    If you havnt seen it, its worth a look.

    Steve Coogan is really good in it- very funny and good to watch, even if you're not mad about that particular type of music.

    What is it about Music films always having a go at Jazz?

    "Jazz is nothing more than musical ****" - The Commitments.

    "Yes, thats a great idea- a jazz/rock musical based on the life of Jack the Ripper called 'Saucy Jack'!" - Spinal Tap.

    "Jazz is the last refuge of the untalented" - 24hr Party People.

    They're right though.

    They are right- Theres some great jazz out there, but all that 10 minute xylophone solo stuff is total sh1te.

    Yep, anyone into music really needs to see this movie.
    No doubt theyv glamed up lots of incidents to make the movie more exciting but its still a great story.

    great funny movie about a great man RIP
    2 disc dvd has some great extras on it
