    Guys,
I killed my G36 today while learning a very expensive yet valuable lesson.
Take the barrel and hopup unit out FIRST.

Hopup unit toasted. BBs casualy sauntering out the end of the barrel like narcoleptic sloths, and staying as far away from each other as humanly possible.

    Yup. God hates me.

Anyway, requiem mass will be held at HRTA on Saturday. (I'll be the one sobbing to himself quietly in a corner somewhere.)

    I'll take it's parts!!!

I actually have a CA G36k thats on the blink at the moment too. Hopup shed a bunch of parts a few weeks back after a trip into the floor muzzle first. Getting a new hop is a pain in the cavity, anywhere that doesn't charge silly prices is out of stock with no ideas as to when they'll be back in supply.

What exactly happend to yours that you're declaring it DOA

I fitted a metal cocking handle. It's only accessable from underneath the inside of the upper reciever. It's sprung. I released the last screw and it whacked forward like a rocket shedding bits as it went.

I managed to get the hop up back together but there are two microscopic bits that don't seem to go where they are supposed to. The hopup wheel now is free floating. The power is there but it's not being directed.

So, whole new hop up unit for me.

    After Christmas.

Yeah new hop for me too. WGC have some nice metal ones I've been eyeing. I was gonna buy a whole bunch of stuff for my G36 this week but I ended up buying an SPR instead. Damn temptations ruining plans

I tried answering this comment with the gravity and respect it deserved.

But the swear filter melted. Now KD is mad at me.
    So thank you for that.
