LIDL Becker GPS - on Christmas Eve

Just to confuse ya'all - Lidl have a Becker (same as a few weeks ago??) on
24th as well as a different one on 20th!

I currently have route 66 on my nokia n73 with external gps module, it's slightly flakey and unreliable, but the i find the maps very good - detailed in country areas.

Want to get a proper one, was all set on getting the Silvercrest one (€269 - http://www.lidl.ie/IE/home.nsf/pages/c.o.20071220.p.43SatelliteNavigationSystem) this week in Lidl... then they add confusion and as dowtchaboy says, they now have a Becker one (€299 - http://www.lidl.ie/IE/home.nsf/pages/c.o.20071224.p.BeckerGPSNavigationSystem) coming out on the 24th...

Anyone care to advise on which might be a better buy? I see the becker has 4 buttons on the front of it, whereas the Silvercrest will just be touchscreen i guess... anyone got either of these?

by the by, I have a becker and found the UI difficult and a pain to use (verses a garmin I borrowed) plus then maps are a bit of a mystery, you can only update them from navteq directly (http://www.navigation.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/WFS/Navteq-NavteqEurope-Site/en_IE/-/EUR/ViewStandardCatalog-Browse;pgid=2qxIa3WKwfpSR0EFAT58NKmG0000F78DZ0oZ?CatalogCategoryID=9.YKCggRKBgAAAEVhxZVECJj&ShowAllProducts=YES&ShowAllCategories=YES)


The current version seems to have Navteq 2006_Q4 (version 2.0 of the Becker travel assist highspeed) which is missing the port tunnel and N4 (not M4) roads.

I tried emailing them on versions and release dates but got no reply.
