Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Yes - Meteor and Vodafone both offer 300 free web texts per month to all customers. However, the texts can only be sent to Irish mobile numbers. O2 allows 250 free web texts per month, but the texts can be sent to International numbers. Three do not provide any free web texts.

If you want to avoid the hassle of visiting your operators website, I suggest you try out JSMS (http://jsmsirl.sourceforge.net). This little application will run on any PC (Windows, Mac, Linux, etc.) and will let you send the texts right from your desktop and saving you bucket loads of time. The app is simple and easy to use, and supports lots of cool little features with plenty more to follow... The JSMS thread can be found here:

AFT (Almost Free Texts) also provides similar functionality - however, the AFT guys also have a little app that will run right on your mobile and will send texts from your phone for a fraction of the normal cost, by making use of your free webtext credits. The AFT thread can be found here: (http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2054984709&highlight=AFT).

    Happy texting!
