NCT Tomorrow Morning - HELP!!!

    My wife's car, a 2003 Avensis, has its NCT tomorrow morning at 9.30am. Cleaning the car tonight, the bonnet release won't work i.e. the cable seems to have loosened. Therefore, the NCT lads won't be able to look at the engine. Is there any way to open it otherwise or tighten the cable??? Need help fast.....

    Try tugging on the lever and have someone else push down on the bonnet

    Try pulling the lever and seeing if you can get an extra pull on the cable it it's visible

    If you get it sorted, be sure and adjust the cable and test before closing it again

    Otherwise, be at the nearest panel beaters to your NCT centre first thing in the morning
