    Arrghhhhhhhhhh

Just got my result yesterday from the OU.
Yay i passed and hence completed my degree. And I'm ready to work on my research masters with my supervisor.

    BUT...

The OU will classify my degree as a 2:2 even tho my grades are 2:1 (via Irish standards ~ 66%)

    anyone else have this problem?

They may be 2.1 via the Irish system, but you studied with a UK university - therefore, you get the degree you deserve under their marking scheme.

    Brooke01 infracted for silly post.

Most employers have been in the game long enough that they know even the difference between a 2.1 from different irish colleges for example. You should have nohing to worry about.
