Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi
I was wondering if there are any free tools for remotely logging into a desktop. Ive found a few sites but none are free. Both my laptop and desktop are XP.

    TIA

    XP pro or home edition?

If you're using XP pro, you might as well use remote desktop

think logmein is the best option mentioned,

vnc and remote desktop need manual firewall tweaking and ports forwarded on the router

Not to mention a total disregard for your data! Unless you really know what you are doing. In any case, you will most likely need a DDNS setup too to simplfy matters.

Logmein is decent enough for the price (free).
