Probably the most random thing that has ever happened to me.

I was waiting to use a cash machine on Grafton St and 3 inebriated girls walked past. One of them turned around and grabbed my balls shouting 'Woohoo'. Cue hysterical laughter from the 3 of them...and get this... 2 Gardai that saw it happen!

I don't think I'd be wrong in saying if I, in a drunken stupor, groped a female strangers breasts on Grafton St in full view of uniformed Gardai I would not be in the comfort of my home tonight surfing the net!! But, there you go that's the way of the world.

I'm not saying the girl should have been arrested or anything, think I'm just regretting not having a go at a couple of guards (incidentally a man and woman) when I had the chance!

A woman being surrounded by 3 blokes with one of them grabbing her body might be a slightly different scenario, don't you think? Given the average size/weight or the sexes?

I'm all for equal rights. I think the OP had the right to give the aul wan* a slap...in the interests of equal rights. I'm just pointing out that he has more of an advantage than the reverse scenario. You're right though, he should have gone to hassle the Gardaí - for so many reasons.

What the girl did was illegal and constitutes a sexual attack. The Gardai should have done something when they saw it happen - it was highly incompetent of them not to. Although seeing as you didn't seem to react and certainly seeing as you didn't approach the Gardai to have the girl arrested means you're just as much to blame.

If some drunken bint walked up to me and grabbed my balls, I'd press charges.

You're right of course, but I'd never press charges over it. It would seem somewhat farcical to me to do that just for the sake of it because I have the right to. I didn't feel violated...perhaps I should, but I don't?
