what type of speakers to get?

    Im not too up on the specs of speakers. I myself have always used JBL's personal prefrence. But one thing you need to keep an eye on is the dimensions. Just be sure that they are the right size for your door panel.

    If your car can accommodate larger woofers, then get them. Larger woofers are better at pushing bass frequencies. Check the frequency response specs - I don't see any listed. You need to know how the speakers will perform at low frequencies. I'm sure the mid and high frequency response will be excellent (most Pioneer speakers are quite good), but if the bass is lacking you will be left with harsh, screechy reproduction.

    Ok i want to tell ye how sorry i am to see you bought Sony equipment, there pure scrap imho :rolleyes:

    Get yourself a nice Kenwood, Pioneer, JVC, Clarion head unit and maybe get some Fusion or any of the above 6x9's to suit ;)
