Coretemp crashing

For some reason, most times I try to open core temp, my pc stalls and restarts. It doesn't matter what the speed is. Currently it's at 2.8Ghz and opened fine, other times it'll crash, and even at the stock 1.8Ghz it happens hit and miss. Temps are fine - 30's idle, 55 under load with Orthos at 2.8Ghz.

Only happens when I open Coretemp. 3dMark runs fine...

    I have a ds3 board, 2gb of 800mhz and 2160.

    Any ideas?

Delete it and download it again.... this time don't uncompress it and just shortcut to the folder it's in... Worked for me.
