    Ah it makes my legs to to mush.

    There's always the odd car that makes you think 'mmmm'

    Mine tonight was at a house par-tay, in the driveway was an SL55 AMG. What a wagon, I hate the look of Mercs but this just makes me go "yummy". This car is a fleet of 3 cars, and many bicycles. Havin' a beer with the owner he tells me about the 630 which he expects in January 2008... 'Sure youll have a go at it wont ya' he smiles as he cracks a can (He let me tap the pedals in the current car a few years back - I felt like royalty). Ah there's some people you just gotta admire :)

    Didn't get any pics, it was pitch black but it's nothing special, just a yummy yoke in general


    -Edit- Just remembered that he's actually keeping the SL55, but upgrading to a 630 from his other Merc "Family car" .... all I can remember about the current "Family car" is that it's a Merc, it's fast, and the front seats move when you take a turn :D

    I'd have to go for a cl65 couldn't fit the kids into the back of an SL. Oh an I'd imagine the tilting seats were probably an R class.

    Can't comment on the M5, but what you describe sounds about right, as we went into a roundabout the seat tilted in the direction of the car. T'was cool but I hope you can turn it off, it'd make me sea sick eventually :D

    It's not a replacement. He's keeping the SL as the 'sporty' car, but getting the 630 to replace the daily driver

    The guy in question cycles more than he drives, he'd prefer a nice racing bicycle than a car any day :D

    How is a car that goes from 0-100 in at worst 6.4 seconds and electronically limited to 250 km/h "slow":confused:?

    Hmm, i have a 2002 Honda Fireblade CBR954RR that can do just under 180MPH (with mods, speed according to dyno) that makes me feel like a young lad when ever i mount her. Its not the fastest bike, pushing out 149bhp before i installed the powercommander so will be more now.

    All i can say is that this machine is worth about £4000, and my god am i pleased with it.

    My point also - if one looks at the HWIST thread there are far nicer cars out there; some with more power, some with less but these two tbh don't even qualify as car 'soft' porn!

    Oh and much as I'd love to be, I am not (yet) a millionaire.
