Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Unable to access Video Marketplace

    For some reason I cannot access the updated parts of Xbox Live Marketplace. Every time I try and access the part of Marketplace with Movies or Xbox Originals I get the following error code:

    "Can't retrieve information from Xbox Live. Please try again later.

    Status Code: 80072741"

    Does anybody know what that means? I have tried ringing Microsoft but I gave up after being on hold for 20 mins. It is weird because I can access all of the game demos and everything else on Xbox Live just not Video Marketplace and Xbox originals.

    BTW I am using an ethernet cable to share my laptops wireless broadband connection with the 360. Any help would be much appreciated! :confused:

    i also have gotten the same status code number when trying to access any of the movies on xbox live. ive been looking for a solution but have yet to find one. i too connect my xbox through my laptop which gets a wireless signal--maybe it has something to do with that...

    It could simply be due to the added influx of Xbox Live users as a result of Christmas presents and it is slowing down the system.

    Also, apparently LIVE is due for a maintanence update so, it could just be Xbox LIVE's fault and not yours.

    Thanks for the reply Timans but I don`t think that is it because I have been getting this error since Video Marketplace started here earlier this month.

    At least I am not the only one though! I will try to ring Microsoft again tomorrow and I'll post back any info that I get.
