Hey all,

My dentist is going to refer me to an orthodontist in the New Year and asked if I had any preference either regarding location or a specific orthodontist. I replied that as long as an orthodontist came highly recommended I had no preference as I assumed that costs would be fairly standard for that kind of dental work. However, he told me that due to the Competition Authority there is often quite a difference in price from one orthodontist to another. In pricing around for braces etc, have other people found prices to be standard or do they fluctuate a lot?
