Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi all, I've decided to do a bit of a revamp on my beauty prodcts for 2008 and am thinking quality over price, instead of using my normal cleanser (clean and clear) which has given me a blotchy complexion I am thinking of Clarins or Dr. Hauschka for a good daily cleanser, preferably with an exfoliator in it.

I'd also like a good all over bosy moisturiser, hopefully in a large bottle so it will last a good long time as I'd be using it once a day.

Also can Clarins' beauty flash balm be used as a daily face moisturiser?

Any recommendations would be really appreciated!

I don't think Beauty Flash Balm is to be used as a daily moisturiser... I think it's more of a pick me up or a skin brightener under makeup.

If you're thinking of investing go round the beauty counters in BT's or Clery's or somewhere similar, tell them what you're looking for and get some free samples. Take note of the prices of the products. Try out your samples at home. Have a look online to see if you can get the products that suit you for a cheaper price than in the dept stores.

I'm using Dermalogica at the moment. I get it online. Lasts ages and does a good job at evening out my face tone (as well as keeping spots at bay!). BUT if you're going to go with Dermalogica get a Dermalogica facial including Face Mapping done first so you know exactly what products to get that will suit your skin.

Everyone is different, just because your friend recommends Clarins doens't mean it will work for you, so get some smaples before you invest! :)
