Different guitars/characters

    Does it make any sort of difference who ya pick and what guitar ya pick?

    ya know in say, for example, mario kart some players have better acceleration but lower top speed, is it like that in GH? like say some characters are better for the faster tracks or some guitars get star power better, or can keep the rock meter higher than others? or are they all exactly the same and only in there for the sake of it?

    The characters are just there for decoration as far as i know, no real difference.

    Was a fan of Pandora in GH2, now she's gone ;_;

    They each (chars) have different fret boards which can affect the clarity of notes but apart from that and appearance, no difference.

    the characters have different fret boards? surely if u buy a new guitar in the shop, that'll change?

    tho in sayin that, it doesnt affect the game at all, does it?

    You know when you are playing the game and the notes are scrolling towards you? The "background" they are scolling on is called a fretboard, each character has a different one, regardless of what guitar you are currently sporting. The only difference this makes is some people find it easier to distinguish notes with different fretboards.

    Buying guitars and using them makes no difference what-so-ever except that the character dancing around on stage will be using it.
