Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Fingerless Gloves

I do alot of photography, and in winter, this results in my hands almost freezing. So I'm looking to get some fingerless gloves so I can keep my hands warm and still work the camera properly.

Can anyone tell me where sells them? They don't have to be fancy, they don't have to be expensive, just plain, fingerless gloves.

Also, before someone suggests it, I'd rather not get regular gloves and cut the fingers off, as I'll just botch it and they'll fall apart after a few wears.

    Thanks.

Purposely made fingerless gloves are the best yeah. Especially if you're a photographer, opening camera cases etc, you'll find with self cut ones, the loose threads will stick to the velcro and pull your gloves apart.

You should be able to find them on the stalls of grafton st, should be about €4-6 I'd say :)

H&M either, i remember getting a pair there before.
But stalls are your best bet really

    Pennys (womens section)
    H&M / Claires maybe
I got proper thinsulate ones, that are fingerless, but have that flap that you pull over to make it a mitten, because I would be working outdoors with geology and you need your fingers to write etc. Got those in one of the outdoor stores. But they might be too bulky for your needs

get cheep ass gloves from pennys. E1.50 for a pack of 2, cut the top off and singe the tips so the bubber melts and stops the ends from fraying.

Thats what i did and i cut my ones about 2 months ago - still like new ^^

go for the ones that turn into mittens, they're really handy (haha..)

Penneys had some last time I was in for about 2 euro

    Thanks guys.

Will try stalls/H&M/Penney's, and if all else fails, the DIY singeing (what an odd word!) approach
