Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,

The brother and his missus live in the sticks and they can only get
    a really faint mobile signal.

I was wondering, is there anything I could whip up like MacGyver out of
everyday items to make a signal booster?

Like tinfoil, string, wire etc. household stuff.

Anyone ever have any success with such a contraption?

Try a different handset maybe? Some handsets hold signal much better than others. Nokia 6230i has always been pretty strong in my experience.
