its got to be chelsea at home for me . and after an 8 goal thriller draw.
the blues will not want any slip up.
at 4/9 its almost a banker.
they learned there lesson with villa. not clinical enough.
my dollars are going on them.
ohh and a double with birmingham chelsea -1. small wager.
    all fixtures here..

I reckon thats a safe one, Newcastle almost never win in London regardless of form.

Shockingly I think Ramos has sprinkled his fairy dust and I can see Spurs beating Reading at the moment.

Very tempted with Chelsea myself. A. Cole and Carvalho both got straight reds yesterday though, do their bans kick in immediately? Also, Lampard off injured. Should still have enough though.

Bridge for Cole, Ballack for Lampard, Makelele for Carvalho.

Makalele also out. Ear operation. Still going for Chelsea in a treble with Man Utd at West Ham, and Tranmere at home to Cheltenham.
Cheltenham have lost 8 of 10 away. Well beaten yesterday (albeit, by the leaders).
Tranmere decent at home. Only lost 3 of 11 there. Good win yesterday, against a high flying Carlisle in good form.
    About 5/2 with PP.

Birmingham, Chelsea, Portsmouth, Spurs, Man Utd & Arsenal

    20/1

Everton are alright at home and could give Arsenal a good run for their money. Arsenal have drawn nearly half their away games. Another draw perhaps?

West Ham gave Chelsea a good game recently and beat United last time they met them. 9/2 a pretty big price for them i think.

I'm almost half tempted to go at 13/2 available for Reading to beat Spurs. ALMOST. Maybe 7/1 and i'll bite.

EDIT: West Ham are available at 11/2. even better :)

Pool seem to be able to put it up against the bigger teams so it could a big win for them..

After finally recovering my St. Stephens night hangover I can get back to the business of making some money. Some tricky games the weekend. The Hammers are a bogey team for United but United are scoring for fun so may take them easier than expected. City and Liverpool I think has all the hallmarks of a draw.

I think Chelsea and Utd for the win. Thats as far as I'm looking anyway.

another good bet is middlesborough to be beaten by porthmouth .

also man city droping points at home to blackburn
liverpool will want to put an end to citys chances of being a top 5 club pretty quick.
and yes pool are good at mid table clubs away...or should i say are lucky.?

    Citeh? Mid-table? Shocking.

    Man U - 8/15
    Rangers -4/7
    West brom - 2/5

    pays 3.37

i'll be lumping on this. if i was pushed for a few other bets it would be Arsenal. Man U were 2/5 against everton, and arsenal are 11/10 - and hurting from their last loss

With man city's strong home form, i wouldnt do a handicap bet against them

Villa have NEVER beaten wigan in the prem . . . but at a push id put them in too (am i right in saying that only Knight is the suspended player?) 11-8

like spurs at home too - 4/9

these all pay 20/1 - if im wrong someone correct me please!!

    Chelsea squad

Cech, Hilario, Belletti, Ferreira, Alex, Ben-Haim, J Cole, Essien, Sidwell, Kalou, Shevchenko, Mikel, Sinclair, Wright-Phillips, Pizarro, Ballack.

They have 3 players left who are likely score a goal and a shored up defence.
I think I might pass after all.

City will not be mid-table in May they'll finish in the Top 6, they will be buying in Jan (proberly Anelka).

    Mike.

Still going to throw Chelsea in a treble. That squad, player for player is better than Newcastles (imo). I bet Big Sam would swap squads given the chance.
Chelseas mentality is far stronger than Newcastles at the mo, no matter who plays. I'd back a weakened team from any of Arsenal, Man Utd or Chelsea against most of the Prem.
Only danger for me is if Owen is involved. Has a habit of messing things up for me in the past!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 88,978 ✭✭✭✭mike65

Oh they should win but the odds are greatly reduced, I think Owen is a possibility for the bench.

    Mike.

birmingham win is a way safer bet , and at 10/11 great odds too. fulham are in a serious state at the moment . players missing all over the shop .
