    A friend had his credit card cancelled.
    He can't get through to the folks at AIB.
    Are they working today?

    The branches are closed today but I think telephone banking is available today so your friend could talk to someone in the call centre.

    How does he know the card is cancelled? If it was refused it could be that he's gone over his limit/ payments haven't been made etc.

    He hasn't gone over his limit and the payments have been made.
    He just can't get through to the call centre.

    01 6685500 - 24/7 staffing there. If he's using that number he shouldnt have any issues

    could have been a dodgy connection, tell him to try it some where else
