Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What phones have good volume on handset and handsfree?

I currently have a Nokia 6300 - nice phone but it annoys me lately as the volume on the handset is crap - I'm often in pubs and clubs and just cannot hear what the other person is saying unless I go somewhere very quiet. Also I make a lot of calls with the phone on speakerphone, either in the car or just at home. In the car I find the volume is crap and sometimes have to revert back to the handset.

My dad has an old blackberry and I noticed the volume was really loud compared to mine. Are certain phones better than others, are any known for being good or bad?

Ive a SE K800i, terrible loudspeaker, its useless unless your in absolute silence. Friend of mine has some Japanese phone with the loudest speaker on a phone ive ever heard! Its a pretty cool phone, slides 2 ways, touchscreen, plays SNES games, good camera, and i think hes selling it because he got a blackberry for Christmas. I can ask him about it if your interested in changing?

Any of the Sagem's I've had have great speakerphones, really loud and I can hold a conversation just fine, so the microphone's good too. Of course great priced phones as well, €69 with Meteor, including a Bluetooth headset.

Nokia 6233 has a decent loudspeaker. It actually has two as it has stereo speakers.
