Want to hire costumes / props

    I'm looking for costume jewelry that wouldn't look out of place on Xena, princess warrior - arm bands, head band, bracelelets, knecklaces, etc.

    Also looking for (bowler?) hat like Fosse dancers would wear, white gloves, cane.

    I want to hire rather than buy. Can anybody help me or point me in the direction of a shop where I can get these items?
    Been on the 'Net and after a lot of searching I seem to be able to only find fancy dress costume hire for people who want to dress up for Halloween.

    I figure most musical societies must have this problem?

    Xena jewellry. Check out goth shops etc and see if they are supplied by a local maker. See if you can do a deal with them. Otherwise try Costume Mill on Capel st. They will know. Good luck with your project.
